Current trends in geometric modeling and selected computational applications
Abstract
Most numerical simulations required techniques for the representation and munipulation of complex, three-dimensional geometries. This paper provides a short historical survey and an overview of state-of-the-art geometric modeling techniques and research issues, and dicusses a few selected applications of geometric modeling in computational areas.
