Search for Exotic Decays of the Higgs Boson to a Pair of New Light Bosons in the Final States with Four Bottom Quarks

Abstract

In this dissertation, we present a search for non-standard decay of the Standard Model-like Higgs boson to a pair of pseudoscalar lighter bosons H →aa with 12 Gev

In this analysis, only the W Higgs associated production is considered to characterize the final state by one isolated high p_T lepton. Then, the MVA BDT classifier is used to distinguish between signal and background. And finally, The CLs method is used in the three and four reconstructed b-quark regions to set upper limits on the branching ratio Br(H →aa)×Br^2 (a → bb ̅).
