Li-Mn-O Li-rich Cation Disordered Rock-salt Cathode Materials Do Not Undergo Reversible Oxygen Redox During Cycling
Abstract
A comprehensive study of Li4Mn2O5 (LMO) shows that it does not undergo reversible oxygen redox when charged in lithium cells. The electrochemical properties can be substantially improved by modification with spinel (LMO-s).
