You check your email and see a message from the Government. This is the first time they have ever sent you a message. [[Read the email|msg]] [[Ignore and go to work|work]]

You turn on the tv and see and the news anchor talking about a new technology that connects directly to the users brain and many people have fallen into a coma like state. [[You hear a knock on the front door|Knock]]

Eggs, bacon, and toast is a good meal to start the morning with. At least that's what some people say. [[Watch news and eat|TV]]

You walk in and close the door behind you. You sit on the couch. Your anxiety is building over this formal envelop. [[Read the letter|letter]]

You are picked up and carried to the warehouse. You open your eyes and see desert in all directions. As they carry you through the door, you see wires hanging from the ceiling and across the floor. There are people on beds and tables all around the room with computers all over the place. You close your eyes again as they place you on an operating table next to other people who seem to be asleep. You arrive at the Police Department and walk up to two people in suits. They ask you to drive with them to a research facility. [[Get in the car|car]]

You get to the airport and hurry through the doors towards the security checkpoint. They ask you to step to into a side room to be searched. [[Step to the side|side]]

A group of government officials enter the room and escort you from the room out the back. They put you into a black van and the van starts driving. [[...|longDrive]]

The car drives on and you watch as you leave the city, and then eventully leave the countryside. You drive through a desert for a few more hours. The sun is going down and the car stops at a large warehouse in the middle of nowhere. The people get out of the car and open your door. You get out of the car. As you look around all you see is desert in every direction. They ask you to follow them into the warehouse. [[Follow|follow]]

They tell you that you are here to help the US governments war on terror and that you are helping test a state of the art computer-brain interface. [[Get out of the car|out]]

They tell you that the location is irrelivant, but you know they are hiding it from you. They tell you your task is the only important part of being here. [[Get out of the car|out]]

They tell you the next step is to log on to the tech and allow it sync up with your brain so that you can preform your task. [[Get out of the car|out]]

As your make a break for the door you feel a seering sharp pain between your shoulderblades. You turn around and see someone holding a gun pointed directly at you with a smoking barrel. As you fall to the floor your vision fades to black. (t8n-depart: "dissolve") [[Die|fade]]

They lead you along and your hear the low hum of computers. Your legs bump into a table, and they tell you to lay on it. They bind your arms, legs, and neck to the table. You follow the people through the door of the warehouse and see people asleep on beds and tables all over the place. They are all wearing the same headset and are connected to computers. Wires run across the floor in every direction. [[Ask who the people are|people]] [[Keep walking|follow2]]

They tell you the people asleep on the tables did not willing join the fight for their country. [[Keep walking|follow2]]

You follow them back into a control room where there is a single chair. They tell you your job is to figure out why the people in the other room wouldn't willing join the fight in cyberspace. The world can be a cruel and unforgiving place. You need to have eyes in the back of your head to be safe. However, it is not the world that is cruel but the people in it. People are programmed to be unsettled by the unknown, it's what keeps them alive in potentially life threating situations. Without a cause that they see as bigger than themselves they will never put themselves in a dangerous situation, one out of their control, by choice. It is true, intimidation breeds hate, hate leads to fights, and fights are not good for anyone involved.
